My essay release party was a success.Not a lot of people--about 12 guests in total--but that was enough for me. The next time I have this kind of party, I'll probably host it at my house, complete with catering services.
The party took place at the Hard Rock Cafe at Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The atmosphere was perfect, the drinks were delicious, and I was even able to stand up and read excerpts from both published essays. And I do love getting up in front of an audience.
