Its Only a Rejection, Right...?

I had submitted the only 100-word story I've ever written in my life to a magazine that specializes in 100-word stories. But to my great dismay, it was not accepted.

But at least they sent a really great email detailing the rejection--that almost always works. Annddd...at least I had been drinking when I received the email--that worked wonders in smoothing the negative feelings over.
